I Finally Have My TATTOO

Oops… Please don’t confuse this “TATTOO” from the one I discussed in my previous blog post. I still don’t have a permanent ink tattoo since I haven’t achieved my “lawyer aspiration” yet (I haven’t even started!). What I meant about “TATTOO” this time is my home DSL connection made possible by Globe.

At last, my Tattoo. :)

Globe is one of the leading cellullar phone network providers here in the Philippines. As part of their innovative host of products, they’ve come up with a DSL connection service under the trademark name TATTOO. I got mine last March 7. What I love about Globe’s Tattoo is it’s very easy to manipulate. Plus, given that I only subscribed for a 1 mbps connection, I must say that I am very much pleased with the result. As compared to a broadband connection (that thing that looks like USB), this one’s better and FASTER.

The installation only took a short while. But it was long enough for me due to my excitement to use the product. Hahaha! On the day of installation, the modem can provide you already with a connection. However, it operates only for about 500+ kbps. On the second day, I had some trouble establishing a connection. Thanks to all the good customer service agents I’ve chatted with through Globe’s newest chatting customer care hotline, I now have a full-powered connection.

The installation crew made the wires and all the cable stuff neat enough to be laid on a single working area. Now, I can comfortably work on my article assignments and upcoming tutorial sessions.

How  about you, do you have a stable connection at home?

A Tattoo Desire

I had this silly pact with my own self about finishing Bachelors of Law, passing the bar exam hopefully in the near future, and having a tattoo…

If I’d be able to graduate from Bachelors of Law and pass the bar exam thereafter, I’ll get myself a tattoo.

 Silly huh?

My parents won’t let me have one. I don’t think tattoos are bad so long as you put them in “discreet” regions and cover them with adequate clothing.  And of course, as long as they are done properly. I would love to have mine done in a high-end and health-certified tattoo parlor so I’d be rest assured that my future tattoo would be done safely.

I would like to have that same structure for my future tattoo. I want something in print bearing all words or phrases significant to me –  my life principle, belief, or dogma. But definitely not about love. Something philosophical. I have so many ideas in mind but of course, I can’t put them all in one sitting. That would hurt a lot.

Anyway, those are just plans. Let’s see what happens. So the next time you see me with tattoos, it means I’ve already become a full-pledge lawyer. Haha…

How about you, would you like to have a tattoo?
